Kid Friendly Weekend Pick for July 18th & 19th

Midsummer Nights Gleam
I know it's only Wednesday but I'm already dreaming of the weekend and Midsummer Nights Gleam at Fosters Botanical Garden. It's this Saturday from 4-9pm. Free admission, 2500 luminaries light up the pathways. Get there early for the keiki activities like face painting, bubbles and crafts.

Haleiwa Arts Festival
Always an amazing event, the Haleiwa Arts Festival brings together designers of all backgrounds. You can find just about anything at the festival from ono food, surf inspired jewelry, kids clothes, plantation artwork and more. Its a fun time for the whole family. This weekends going to be hot so I would stop by Matsumotos Shaved Ice before driving back. The festival runs Saturday 7/18 from 10-6pm and Sunday 7/19 from 10-5pm.
